Pricing

Pricing varies from project to project based on a number of factors, including:

- the length of the document
- the standard and nature of the document
- the complexity of the work/level of intervention required
- the requested turnaround time.

Please rest assured I won’t charge for anything that we haven’t agreed in advance and can provide a finalised quotation once we have discussed the parameters of the project and I have had a look at a representative sample of the text.

Terms & Payment

Any work arranged to be carried out outside of normal working hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday) or on bank holidays will be priced at time-and-a-half.

Typically, I invoice upon final delivery of the work, unless we agree on periodic invoicing throughout a longer project. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date and payment by bank transfer is appreciated.

On a first project, or when working with private individuals, I ask for a 50% deposit before work can commence, with the remainder of the balance due within 30 days of the invoice date.
