format of the document (Word, PDF, PowerPoint)
word count
how you would like the document to be marked up (Track Changes, Acrobat comment tools, Acrobat callout boxes, BSI marks)
turnaround time
your target audience (e.g. investors, prospective A-Level students, alumni, members of the general public, etc.)
how much intervention you are looking for (only checking typos, spelling and grammatical errors, or also checking formatting, tone of voice, illustrations, etc. – for an overview of what I would normally check, please see Why pay for proofreading?
